Use Marketing Clarity To Increase Sales
ByUse Marketing Clarity To Increase Sales
Any effective client-attracting promotional material usually contains the following five elements:
- Clearly defined products or services
- Clearly targeted ideal buyers
- Clear, benefit-oriented messages
- Clearly written/designed marketing materials
- Clearly communicated offers
Without them, it’s difficult to make a connection with your prospects.
As straightforward as they seem, getting these “marketing ducks” in a row is a huge challenge for many business owners.
How about you? Are you attracting the right kind of clients? Where is your marketing falling short?
For many business owners, the mistake they make is chasing the “next shiny thing” before they get the basics in place.
What could be more fundamental than consistently communicating how your business helps people and adds value?
- Is your service (or product) is so clearly defined that you can explain what it is and the need for it, in one or two sentences, when someone asks you what you do.
- Can clearly define who your ideal clients are? You know who they are and how you can reach them.
- Do your marketing messages all clearly communicate what your service is and who it is for.
- Do all of your marketing materials expand on your marketing message and explain in more detail the benefits and advantages of your services.
- Do all your marketing messages and materials contain a “call-to-action” or offer that clearly directs a prospect to take an action that will lead them to take the next step in your selling process.
Getting the marketing basics in place will help you create the clarity you may be missing.
